This app, Magnifier Pro (package com.zavistudio.magnifier), is developed and published by zavistudio (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app and its third-party services collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
By downloading or using Magnifier Pro, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Magnifier Pro uses your device camera to magnify text and objects and to recognize text (OCR). This processing happens locally on your device using Google’s on-device ML Kit. Live camera frames are not stored and not transmitted. A photo is saved only when you tap “Save”, in which case it is written to your device’s gallery and a reference is kept in the app’s local history on your device. You can delete saved captures at any time from within the app or your gallery.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, or any account credentials. Magnifier Pro has no login or user account.
The free version of the app displays ads served by Google AdMob. To provide and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, which can include your device’s advertising identifier (Advertising ID), IP address, general (coarse) location, device type, and ad interaction data. Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), the app presents a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form so you can choose whether personalized ads are used. See Google’s policies linked in Section 5.
If enabled by the developer, the app may use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to diagnose crashes and stability issues. This may include aggregated, pseudonymous data such as app events (e.g. screen opened, feature used), device model, OS version, app version, language, and crash logs. This data is used only to improve the app. You can turn off usage analytics at any time in Settings → Usage analytics.

We request the minimum permissions needed and only at the moment a feature requires them.
We do not sell your personal information.
Magnifier Pro relies on the following third-party services, which have their own privacy policies:
Images and capture history you create are stored on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app. Advertising and analytics data handled by Google is retained according to Google’s own retention policies (see the links in Section 5).
Magnifier Pro is a general-purpose utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will address it.
Because core processing happens on your device and we do not operate user accounts, your captured images stay under your control. Data transmitted to Google’s advertising and analytics services is protected in transit using industry-standard encryption. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
