01 Overview
Device Doctor AI ("the app") is a system diagnostics utility developed by Zavi Studio that monitors CPU, RAM, battery, storage, and network health on your Android device, and produces an on-device health score.
The app is built to work without a server backend. There is no sign-up, no user profile, and no account system. Diagnostic data the app reads (battery level, RAM usage, storage breakdown, network type, etc.) is processed locally on your device to generate the readings, history, and health score you see in the app — it is not transmitted to Zavi Studio or stored on any server we operate.
02 Data we access
The table below lists every category of data the app reads, exactly matching what the app requests on your device — nothing is read beyond this list.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, messages, precise real-time location history, photos, or file contents. Fine location permission is used solely to let Android resolve the connected Wi-Fi network's name, as required by the platform — the app does not track or store your location.
03 Permissions explained
Android permissions the app requests, and when each is triggered:

04 Advertising (AdMob)
The free version of Device Doctor AI shows banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process the advertising identifier, coarse device/network information, and interaction data to serve and measure ads, and may use this data consistent with Google's own policies.
Zavi Studio does not receive or store the data AdMob collects — it is processed directly by Google. You can review or reset your advertising identifier, and opt out of personalized ads, from your device's Google Settings app under Ads.

Purchasing the premium tier (where available) removes ads from the app.
05 Storage & retention
Diagnostic readings and history (battery, RAM, storage, health score trends) are stored in a local database on your device only, using Android's Room persistence library. This data:
- Never leaves your device or reaches Zavi Studio servers — we don't operate a backend for this app.
- Is retained on-device for the history window shown in Settings, and is deleted automatically as older entries roll off, or immediately if you clear the app's data or uninstall it.
- Is included in Android's standard app backup (if enabled on your device) since the app does not disable system backup — you can turn this off in your device's system backup settings.
06 Home screen widgets
Device Doctor AI offers Battery, RAM, and Health Score home-screen widgets. Widgets read the same on-device diagnostics described in §2 to display live values and do not introduce any additional data collection.
08 Children's privacy
Device Doctor AI is a general-audience system utility not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details in §11 and we will address it.
09 Security
Because diagnostic data stays on-device rather than being transmitted to a server, the primary safeguard is the security of your own device (screen lock, OS updates, and Android's app sandboxing). We follow standard Android development practices to avoid exposing this data to other apps.
10 Your choices
- Revoke permissions anytime from Android Settings → Apps → Device Doctor AI → Permissions. Some features (e.g. Wi-Fi name display, largest-files scan) will stop working without their corresponding permission.
- Delete your data by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app — since all history is local, this permanently removes it.
- Opt out of ad personalization via your device's Google Settings → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization."
11 Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if we add crash reporting, analytics, or a cloud backup feature in a future update — we'll update the "Effective" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, note it in the app's release notes.
