Welcome to Contact Backup & Manager ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our practices.

By using this App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

The App requests access to the following data on your device:

• Contact data is accessed only on your device to provide app functionality.
• Backup files are saved locally in your device's internal storage.
• We do not transmit, upload, sync, or store your contacts on any server.
• We do not analyze, process, or read your contact data for any purpose other than displaying it to you within the app.
• No account or login is required. We have no user database.

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain data to serve relevant ads. This includes:

• Device advertising ID
• IP address and approximate location
• Device type, OS version, and app usage data
• Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)

This data is collected by Google, not by us. Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Your contact data is never shared with AdMob or any advertiser.

You can opt out of personalized ads by visiting Google Ad Settings or through your device's Privacy Settings → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

• All backup files are stored in your device's private internal storage — not accessible by other apps.
• No data is stored on our servers — we have none.
• If you uninstall the App, all App data including backup files is deleted from your device.
• We recommend keeping your device secure with a PIN or biometric lock to protect your backup files.

You can revoke any permission at any time through Settings → Apps → Contact Backup & Manager → Permissions. Revoking contacts permission will disable core app features.

The App uses only one third-party service:

We do not use analytics SDKs, crash reporting tools, or any other third-party data collection services.

This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has used this App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

Since all your data stays on your device, you have full control:

• Access — All contact data is visible within the App at all times.
• Delete — Uninstall the App to remove all backup files. Delete contacts directly from the App.
• Export — Export your data as VCF or CSV at any time.
• Revoke permissions — Through Android Settings at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify users through the App or Play Store release notes.

Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
