This Privacy Policy explains how Zavi Studio ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the mobile application CalcNova — Scientific Calculator ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

In short: CalcNova is designed to be privacy-friendly. Your calculations and history stay on your device and are never sent to us. The App does not require an account. We use a small number of trusted Google services to show ads, understand overall usage, and fix crashes, as described below.

1. Information We Collect

a) Information you create in the App (stays on your device)

Your calculations, results, and calculation history are stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we cannot access it. Clearing your history in the App, or uninstalling the App, removes it.

b) Information collected automatically by third-party services

To keep the App free and reliable, we use Google services that may automatically collect certain information from your device, such as:

• A device advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID)
• Approximate, non-precise information such as IP address and general region
• Device and app information (device model, operating-system version, app version, language)
• Aggregated, anonymous usage and interaction events (for example, which features are opened)
• Diagnostic and crash information if the App stops working unexpectedly

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise GPS location, contacts, photos, or the contents of your calculations.

2. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following Google services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google AdMob — displays advertisements and measures ad performance. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
• Google Firebase Analytics — helps us understand, in aggregate, how the App is used so we can improve it.
• Firebase Crashlytics — reports crashes and stability issues so we can fix bugs.

These services act as independent data controllers or processors for the data they collect. We encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy.

3. How We Use Information

• To display and measure advertisements that keep the App free.
• To understand overall, aggregated usage and improve features and performance.
• To detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical problems.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Advertising & Your Choices

Ads in the App are provided by Google AdMob and may be personalized based on your advertising identifier. You are in control:

• Reset or delete your Advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads (wording varies by device).
• Opt out of personalized ads: turn on "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in the same Android Ads settings.
• Users in the EEA/UK: where required, the App presents a consent choice (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are shown, and you can change your choice later from the App's Settings.

5. Permissions

The App requests the minimum permissions needed to function:

• Internet / Network access — required to load ads and send anonymous analytics/crash data.

Core calculator features work fully offline.

6. Data Retention

Calculation data stored on your device is kept until you clear it or uninstall the App. Data collected by Google services is retained according to Google's policies and retention settings. Crash and analytics data is retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain data uses.

• You can delete on-device data at any time by clearing history or uninstalling the App.
• You can control ad personalization through your device settings as described above.

9. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Significant changes may also be communicated within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
